Few more days and this 007 is all gone bye bye. What happened? Where did time go? I still remember last New Year Eve, or do I? Wait let me think. Yes I do remember it, it was fun and this year I am doing the same thing over again. Sing, dance and be with old friends.

I named 2007 "The Bond Year" because of 007, and I kept my promise that everytime I had to write the date on my check book or wherever I would write it is as 007, now I have to come up with another idea. what can I do with 2008? Call it the year of V8? Haev uyou had your V8. I wil live it I in full I guess.

My only goal for 2008 will be to be happy, thats easy for me and I know it will be done. This shit of trying to quit biting my nails is NOT working; the only way I will stop is by cutting my fingers off. I know it's bad but I have tried!. Hipnosys? Maybe I should try that.

Few days left, I need to get some Champagne, 12 grapes, a hat and I am ready for this to be over.

Back to work, after all 007 will end up just like it started, working hard for the money honey.

AT THE OLD CITY BAR

Everytime I hear this song I get goose bumps. Merry Christmas evenyone.
Please click on Title above. Enjoy!

Old City Bar (Lyrics)-Trans-Siberian Orchestra-

In an old city bar
That is never too far
From the places that gather
The dreams that have been

In the safety of night
With its old neon light
It beckons to strangers
And they always come in

And the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
The music was low
And the night
Christmas Eve

And here was the danger
That even with strangers
Inside of this night
It's easier to believe

Then the door opened wide
And a child came inside
That no one in the bar
Had seen there before

And he asked did we know
That outside in the snow
That someone was lost
Standing outside our door

Then the bartender gazed
Through the smoke and the haze

Through the window and ice
To that corner streetlight

Where standing alone
By a broken pay phone
Was a girl the child said
Could no longer get home

And the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
The bartender turned
And said , not that I care
But how would you know this?
The child said I've noticed
If one could be home
They'd be already there

Then the bartender came out from behind the bar
And in all of his life he was never that far
And he did something else that he thought no one saw
When he took all the cash from the register drawer

Then he followed the child to the girl across the street
And we watched from the bar as they started to speak
Then he called for a cab and he said J.F.K.
Put the girl in the cab and the cab drove away
And we saw in his hand
That the cash was all gone
From the light that she had
wished upon

If you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last

By helping a neighbor
Or even a stranger
And to know who needs help
You need only just ask

Then he looked for the child
But the child wasn't there
Just the wind and the snow
Waltzing dreams through the air

So he walked back inside
Somehow different I think
For the rest of the night
No one paid for a drink

And the cynics will say
That some neighborhood kid
Wandered in on some bums
In the world where they hid

But they weren't there
So they couldn't see
By an old neon star
On that, night, Christmas Eve

When the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
And in case you should wonder
In case you should care

Why we on our own
Never went home
On that night of all nights
We were already there

Then all at once inside that night
He saw it all so clear
The answer that he sought so long
Had always been so near

It's every gift that someone gives
Expecting nothing back
It's every kindness that we do
Each simple little act

Give to the ones in need this Christmas

Few days from today it will be the night when Santa Claus comes down the chimney
and kids of all ages will open their gifts.
This is the time when we put all troubles to the side and just enjoy the holidays. It's the time of “GIVING” time when people "SHARE" amongst family gatherings feats of turkey and dressings. But what about the people who USED TO give and receive gifts in past holiday years and lost EVERYTHING to Katrina or their homes burnt in California and children dieing of AIDS in your own town. What about them? What about giving to OUR country, to OUR towns, our own communities and communities that are suffering in OUR COUNTRY. What about those people the towns and their homes?.

I feel that Americans are not focusing on what’s happening in this country. Some of us know what’s happening in the world (really we just know what the media is allowed to say) but what about HERE in our own town, our own city, State, the next State. What about our orphanages, hospitals, poor communities, the homeless, and I can go on and on..

How can we change people to NOT expect a gift but TO GIVE, Isn’t that the true meaning of the Christmas? TO GIVE THE GIFT.

Why can’t we just put aside what we want for now and get in a couple of months when we get our money from the IRS (after all, we did work hard to get that money) and instead put your Christmas money into good use and help get this country into shape. We all know that our Government is not worth a damn when it comes to taking care of our people here in U.S.A. so I have made a list of ideas and maybe someone will come up with more, or even better, take and idea and RUN WITH IT.

• Charities- Have your child pick a charity, let him/her read about 3 or 4 different charities, they will understand that giving is better than receiving. Just like the true Christmas.

• Have a Christmas get-together Have people bring their check books and choose from an array of charities (all listed in google.com, please choose charities that help people HERE). Oprah and Alicia Keys, and many people with lots of money and power already give to the people in need in Africa, and Cambodia, etc. WE NEED TO FEED THE KIDS HERE, IN OUR COUNTRY. I don't see any other country helping us, do you?

• Find out where an injured soldier lives, Our government really does not help them that much. Bring them a gift, find out how you can help them. Some Soldiers come back from our current war disabled, they are OUR soldiers, our Citizens, we civilians can help. At the same time, find a family who lost their loved one in the war, they need our support their children need the gift of giving.

• Find an orphanage in your town (a.k.a Children’s home) find out if you can bring some toys and clothes. Gather your co-workers and have them buy games or toys for those kids and take it to them. I have done this, and when I leave those kids I feel fulfilled, I made their day and at the same time my heart drops to the bottom and I want to take them all to my home. They need our help. Our “system” really doesn’t do much for those kids. A toy and a nice shirt or blouse makes any kid smile, that’s for sure.

• Volunteer -Meals on Wheels is a wonderful organization. Feed the homeless. Find one near your home on google.com or ask.com.

• Go to a Children’s’ Hospital Dress like Santa or a Raindeer or even a Snow Man. Give candy out and I promise you, that one hour that you spend dressed in costume will make those children very happy.

• Women Shelter- Put yourself in their place, what Mother doesn’t feel sad when they know they can’t give their child a Christmas present? Bring them clothes, toys for their kids,or even better, bring your computer with you and spend all day typing up their resumes, then go home, print them and make 10 copies of each resumes and give it tho them. Give them one of your old-but-nice interview suits, believe me, that woman’s best gift will be to have a paying job and get out of the shelter. Next Christmas they will think of you.

• Drive to Louisiana, Mississippi or Alabama and help rebuild their towns, If you don’t know what a hammer and a nail put together can do, then bring food, blankets, a case of beer or Champagne, it doesn’t have to be expensive (don’t forget the glasses).

• Ask some of the local church choir to volunteer and take them to Shelters to sing a song or two, stand outside a store and have them sing few songs, just to make people smile.

• Donate blood, get a new hair cut and donate your hair to Lucks for love. Donate your time, that’s all, and believe me, one hour of your time is nothing, but for the ones in need that hour is a smile on their face, food on the table, clothes to wear, toys to play with and a job to go after. They will remember that time forever!

Give to the ones in need.

Merry Christmas
Peace Please!

Can someone tell Elmo to SHUT UP!

I like the Christmas holiday season, The Carolers knocking on your door singing Jingle Bells. The green pine trees all dressed in lights. The horse carriages with a couple in love cozy wrapped in warm blankets. Children ice skating… WAIT! That doesn’t happen in Dallas TX. WAKE UP JEN! Ok I am back. (Sigh!). I’m awake now…. I worry…

I worry because this world is going mad and we spend money like crazy buying things that won’t be used, will be returned, fighting for that last Wii game, or the damn last edition of Tickle Me Elmo. Now I have one simple question; Who the fuck invented that annoying creature? And most important, why do ADULTS purchase this loud-high-pitch toy? Is it to enjoy that ONE MONTH of excruciating noise over and over and again? Knowing that pretty soon the batteries will die and they can tell their Child “oh, I need to send it back to the store for them to fix it” Then hiding poor batteryless Elmo in the attic and never see that damn pain in the ass Elmo tickle it’s tummy and sing like nails on a chalk board EVER AGAIN!.

PEOPLE PLEASE THINK before you buy. Think of how much money that Elmo is worth. Think how much a therapy session is, and you will need it believe me. Now, tell me, IS IT WORTH IT? I know you love your kids but the bible says “love thy neighbor” so pay attention to that, your neighbor can also hear Elmo singing. STOP PLEASE! ..

Gotta call my shrink

What's Mexican and what's not

Many years ago there was a wonderful Tex-Mex restaurant in Dallas called “Calientes”. I was raised in Mexico and I really don’t like Tex-Mex food but “Calientes” had the best hot sauce ever.
I told a friend of mine that in Mexico it is rare to get chips and hot sauce at your table and she really didn’t understand “what do you mean, chips and hot sauce is not ‘real Mexican food?’
If some of you don’t know the difference, here are some examples:
1)Lettuce and tomatoes go on a salad and NOT in a taco.
2)Chips and Salsa are NOT served in Mexican restaurants, we call the chips “Totopos” and the salsa will be on your table to be used on tacos.
3)Tortillas are made of corn; a flower tortilla is called “Arab bread” or Pita bread.
4)Few dishes are spiced with chili, and not all Mexicans can handle hot and spicy food.
5)Corona used to be the least sold beer in Mexico until a U.S. marketing company took advantage of “Cinco de Mayo” festivities in USA and promoted a Mexican brand beer in most US restaurants and bars.
6)Cinco de Mayo is NOT the Mexican Independence Day, it’s called “La Batalla de Puebla” and it was against the French NOT the Spaniards.
7)Mexican Independence day is September 16th
8)You call them “fajitas” we call them “Taco meat”.
9)There is no such thing as lemons, but we put lime on everything (almost).
10)Mexican’s do not speak Mexican and they are not Spanish people. Mexicans speak Spanish and they are Mexican people.

Recipe SALSA QUEMADA from Calientes Restaurant; “Burned Hot Sauce”
6 Roma tomatoes (cut into quarters)
1 bunch of green onion
1 bunch of Cilantro (cut in half so you don’t kill your blender)
Jalapenos (as many as you can handle)
1 lime
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup of water
½ teaspoon salt
A pinch of black pepper
¼ teaspoon fresh oregano

In a bowl combine a cup of water, minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano and the juice of one lime mix and leave it alone.

In a hot pan or a grill add the green onions and let them burn a little, then add the tomatoes and let them get a little burned, once you have those two nicely grilled and “burned” a bit, add the cilantro, mixed it together and keep it on the grill for 5 more minutes, until all of it is mixed.

Pour the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro into blender and add the liquid. Blend baby blend!

Best way it's best to eat it hot and with chips.

Buen Provecho!

5000 piece puzzle – “Warning!” Some assembly required

Since it is the holiday season I decided to get in the "spirit" of giving, however between the price of gas, the U.S. dollar falling below the Canadian dollar, the war around the world, Oprah endorsing Obama (stay away Oprah, voting is our own decision, don’t you be enticing your "Book Club Fans" to vote for Obama, I am not saying he would be a bad president, but let the American Citizens make up their own minds, please! and next time you go on the road with Obama, PLEASE just because you have a lot of black American followers, don’t try to exaggerate your accent and try to sound like Dr. MLK. He was a genius, you are only famous, just keep your Chicago accent please. Do us all a favor, stick to your book club, Dr. Phil and other TV shows, you are good at that, don’t burn yourself on politics).

Back to toys for boys and girls. Children and the Santa List.

Made in China- DO NOT BUY TOYS or anything made in China, not now, not ever. It can kill you.

Hecho en Mexico- Go for it buy all you want, good products, no led or toxins, how do I know that? Most of the products made in US have parts made in Mexico.

Made in U.S.A.- That’s a good thing, nothing like a Barbie or Ken for kids, good Mattel products, again, parts made in Mexico but still produced inside the American continent.

I have a list of Toy Warnings that you might want to check out, some are very dumb and some are way too strange but still, it’s fun.

Harry Potter Toy Broom – “Warning!” This broom does not actually fly.

5000 piece puzzle – “Warning!” Some assembly required

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000- “Warning!” This program should not be used in flight training! Death or serious injury could result!

"Guess Who" Game - Note: Game pieces do not actually talk

Mr. Bubbles - Keep out of reach of children

McDonald's Power Rangers Toy - WARNING! : This bag is not a toy

I rather give $200.00 to an orphanage AKA “Children’s home” than a $200.00 toy that will be forgotten 2 minutes after the next gift is unwrapped.

I was driving last night and looked at a sign “CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, EVERYTHING FOR A$1.00” Sorry storeowner, you DON’T have a “Christmas Special” when the name of the store is “THE DOLLAR STORE”, who are you kidding? Liar! You are now on Santa’s bad list and getting coal for Christmas, oh wait! That coal will be on the shelves for $1.00 the next day, but it won’t be made in China, that’s for sure.

This Christmas I have decided to give to the ones that need it, Children with AIDS need help, the Local Orphanage needs help, Women Shelters, and the people who lost their homes during Katrina they need help. By the way Mr. President, when the hell are you going to take care of OUR U.S. citizens and not some other countries citizens? BRING OUR TROUPS BACK LET THEM HELP USA, we are not going through a civil war here, Iraq is.

Oh! Oh! Oh! I KNOW what I want from Christmas! - The best gift anyone can give me
(And many of us would agree) IMPEACH BUSH AND CHANEY, thats it!, that's the only thing I want, don't you?.

Happy Holidays to all and I bid you PEACE!

Wine Vs. H2O

To paraphrase Ben Franklin: " In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria".

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that is we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia Coli (E. coli) -bacteria in feces.

In other words, we would be consuming one kilo of Poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine and beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health.

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of shit.

Now I know and all these time I though my ex was an alcoholic when she was only germophobic.

Fidel Castro, CIA and Botulinum

"If your man tells you that your face looks like a map, tell him to hit the road!" this is a line from the movie Connie & Carla, which happens to be one of my favorite movies and my favorite line ever.

I was watching the History Channel and they had 1960’s special. What drew my attention was how the CIA made several attempts to kill Fidel Castro and they failed, it doesn’t shock me that the CIA failed to do their job, what shocked me was what they tried to kill him with and how. Check this out.

Castro made a trip to the USA to talk with our “higher-power-politicians” regarding the usual political crap, the CIA decided that it would be a great time to kill Fidel. They had a cigar made and laced with Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin protein produced by the bacteriun Clostridium Botulinum is one of the most poisonous naturally occurring substances in the world, and it is the most toxic protein. Castro never smoked that Cigar. Why should he? the best cigars are made by hand in his own country, did the CIA think of this? Did they miss the part in training where they talk about “PREP FOR THE CASE”? I am sure Castro brought several boxes of fresh rolled Cuban cigars to give to our US politicians. Then the CIA decided to lace one of his drinks with Botulinum toxin, Castro never drank it. Castro was warned that the CIA was trying to kill him with Botulinum toxin.

What really shoked me was that in the early 60’s Botulinum toxin was a deadly posion and 40+ years later women and men get shots of Botulinum toxin to look pretty yes! it is injected into the skin to fill in the wrinkles. Botulinum Toxin is now called BOTOX …

PEOPLE!!! PEOPLE!!! PEOPLE!!!! You are filling your wrinkles to look young, you are injecting poison into your lips to make them look fuller, you tuck here, pull there, etc. FOR WHAT? You won’t live to be 80, you are poisoning yourself. But it’s ok, when you die and you are in your coffin, make sure is an open gasket this way the money you spend poisoning yourself and causing a slow-but-sure death will pay off. People will walk to say their last good byes and say “oh he/she died without a wrinkle, looking so young and he/she was only 59 years old?” when in reality you are 60. ONE YEAR? Is that a big difference?…

My wrinkles are proof that I’ve had a great time in life. I rather get wrinkles from laughter than have a face so stretched and tight that no one knows if I’m laughing or simply paralized, and PLEASE if you are into Botox for the face, valum for sleep and martinis for brunch, DO NOT CALL ME TO BITCH because I have a ciggarette with my drinks at happy hour. I could die of lung cancer but BOTOX? My God!.. Vanity is deadly!.
Have you ever kissed someones lips full of botox? Might as well kiss the rubber tires on your car, they are softer. GIVE IT UP PEOPLE!.

Back to the CIA, how come they made more that 10 attempts to kill Fidel Castro and failed? It only took one try to kill JFK.
